love everyone as you love yourself...

Sometimes I wonder, why certain religious group go around preaching to join a particular religion. I mean, what's the reason behind it? Is it wrong if you are a Hindu, Christian, Muslim or Buddhist? Earlier this morning, there was a group of people who came to my house to preach about a particular religion. All that ran into my mind was, why are they doing this?

Personally, I am in a totally different school of thought. What's the matter if we are from different religion. The most important thing is all religion says the same thing, be good, do good, see good and hear good. Right? We are born in a particular religion for good because god wanted us to be so.

Swami said,
If you are a Hindu be a better Hindu,
If you are a Muslim be a better Muslim,
If you are a Christian be a better Christian,
If you are Buddhist be a better Buddhist.

This is what everyone should follow upon. Doesn't matter who you are or where you are from or how you look like, what matters the most is are you a good person. Is your heart pure and full of love to all living things, be it for humans, plants or animals. Show love to all human being despite all the differences we have between one another. We are all god's children, aren't we? So, why do we still look at the differences between religions? Every religion is special in their own way, know them, understand and show respect to all religions. Make this world a better place to live it, transform this world into a paradise of peace, love and harmony. Why don't we throw away all our ego, the differences, selfishness, hatred, jealousy and all those negative qualities and start treating everyone equally.  :) This is not so difficult after all. :)

So, people change and treat everyone alike :)
